I received my teaching degree from DePaul University in 1968 and taught in Chicago for 6 years.  I then received my graduate school administrative degrees from Northern Illinois University and spent the next 36 years as a high school administrator in the suburbs, serving three schools; Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park (25 years), Amos Alonzo Stagg High School in Palos Hills (3 years) and Riverside-Brookfield High School in Riverside (8 years).  My wife, Eileen, and I moved from Chicago to Tinley Park in 1972 and still reside there.  We raised two children, Sheryl and Darren.  We now have four grandchildren, two by each of our children.  I retired in 2010 and now spend my time tending to our home, making daily visits to the health club, enjoying our children and grandchildren whenever possible, and catching up on my reading that I neglected for too long a time."
