I have been doing some traveling this past year.  Last May I went to Alaska with a nursing school classmate for the Land/Sea cruise tour on Princess.  Did this with hubby 10 years ago and Jan had never been there.  Here's a picture of us holding sled dog puppies.

Last month, I went with my mom (who is 87) on a Caribbean cruise.  She wanted to do this and I wanted to escape Chicago winter.  Enclosing a shot of us on the dock in Labadee, Haiti.

I just realized that in one there is snow and the other is summer in February!  Planning on attending the reunion.  Just have to print out the invitation and send it in.  So accommodating of the committee to have it in my backyard.

Sue, Karl and grandaughter, Penny

We just became grandparents for the first time!  Baby Penny was born to our daughter, Alison and her husband Jeremy on February 16, 2012.

I retired in August of 2011 and am really enjoying my free time.  I am working part-time though, as an RN for a company that does health screenings and gives flu shots.  We will be busy in the fall.  Just earning a few dollars that I can spend on baby girl clothes.

I graduated Ravenswood Hospital School of Nursing in 1968 and married Karl the same year.  We have 2 children, Alison born in 1973 and David born in 1979.  I am currently employed at Alexian Brothers Medical Center since 7/01 as a Case Manager and discharge planner.  We love to travel by cruise boat and recently went to Hawaii and Alaska.  Current plan is to retire in 2008 and joining Karl who will retire next year in blissful unemployment.
